Conflict Minerals

The Dodd-Frank Act, Section 1502 rules, require certain companies to disclose the extent to which the products they manufacture or contract to manufacture contain so-called conflict minerals sourced from the mines in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (“DRC”) or adjoining countries. Conflict minerals include tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold which are used in many electronic components and computer products.

As a socially responsible company, municom GmbH has concern for the well-being of people and communities. We conduct our business fairly and ethically, respect human rights, comply with laws and regulations and follow a strict Code of Conduct.

municom does not directly import conflict minerals nor do we have any indication that the products we sell contain minerals originating from these regions of conflict.

We ask for our customers´ understanding that we cannot fill out respective questionnaires due to the great number of requests. However, we will be pleased to supply customers with the relevant links on our manufacturers´ websites which provide detailed information concerning the subject of “conflict minerals”.

We hope that with this statement we are able to fulfill your information requirements.
